Endodontics
This area of dentistry is commonly referred to as Root Canal Therapy. Endodontics treats diseases of the root apices and nerve of the tooth called the pulp chamber, pulp, or root canal of the tooth.
Treatment becomes necessary in cases when the pulp of the tooth becomes inflamed on infected. Individuals with teeth decay or have suffered a blow to the teeth that results in significant damage may require this root canal therapy to remove the damaged pulp.
How to know if you need Endodontics Treatment
